The THIRD annual Marji Family Picnic has been scheduled for Sunday July 13, 2025
The second annual Marji Family Picnic was loads of fun! We were very blessed again with good weather. Thank you to all the Aunts, Uncles and Cousins for their contribution to the Food Tables... the food was spectacular again! Thanks to Amo Eygil and Auntie Fadia's Family for hosting last year's event. And most of all, thank you to everyone that made it out and helped to make this a very special day.
Special thanks to Amo Turki (Abu Jamal) and Auntie Abla's Family for sponsoring the event for the 3rd annual picnic in 2025.

Location: Glen Haffy (The ForestView site)
Time: 10:30 am - ? (the park is open until 8pm)
If you need to set up a BBQ, please arrive by 10am

Note: Each family will be responsible to pay the entrance/parking fee to the Park (which is separate):

Toddler (3 yrs and younger): Free
Child (4 – 13 yrs): $5.30
Adult (14 - 64 yrs): $8.00
Senior (65+): $6.75
Note: the parks have gone cashless... only debit or credit.
There will be fun GAMES and PRIZES!
Each family should bring the following:
- Bring your own drinks and a cooler for your immediate family
- Bring an item for potluck (food, fruit, or dessert) to share at the communal food table
Napkins, Paper Plates and Cutlery will be provided.
- Barbecues are allowed at this site, but you have to bring your own BBQ and set it up.
Please arrive early if you plan on setting up a BBQ.
- Pets are allowed, but dogs must be on a leash at all times.
